The Dizzy Rooster, Scoresby
The Dizzy Rooster Bar and Bottle Shop features craft beer, small batch wines and spirits, as well as a select menu of cocktails in its intimate two-storey setting.
Show off your general knowledge at the regular trivia nights, enjoy live and local music or simply sit back and watch some sports.

Bar Nearby, Box Hill
Bar Nearby is quickly growing into a popular place for Box Hill locals to relax with a cocktail or a glass of wine. Ella and James are the friendly couple behind the new bar just down the road from Box Hill train station.
They will be launching their weekly quiz night on Wednesday (May 7), with champagne cocktails on Mother’s Day. Or check out their new mulled wine as the weather cools.

Una Una, Box Hill
Una Una transforms from a sandwich shop in the daytime to a cocktail bar in the night, featuring Happy Hour from 5pm to 6pm knocking 20 percent off cocktails and sharing plates.

Killik Handcrafted Rum, Belgrave
Killik Handcrafted Rum has made a name for itself in the Hills as not just a place to check out Killik’s newest rum creations but a place to catch up with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
Grab a rum tasting paddle for $18 or check out their wide range of rum and gin-centric cocktails.

Relatively new on the Lilydale scene, Radio Social Club has cocktails for $23 or non-alcoholic cocktails for $18.
There is a four-page drinks menu to pore over.

Altus Rooftop Bar and Lounge, Chadstone
Overlooking Dandenong Road, Altus has great views and a wide range of wines, cheeses and cocktails.
Cocktails at $25 include the Coastal Martini with Cape Grim Tasmanian vodka and Regal Rogue Vermouth, and the Fleur La Mode with Belvedere Vodka, Fino sherry, lemon juice, raspberry puree and house-made jasmine and rose water.

McAdams Wine Bar, Croydon Hills
McAdams Wine Bar is an intimate space for a function, or a casual spot for your next Friday night.
Mothers keen to get together for a wine and a chat are encouraged to come on down this Friday May 9, with local acoustic trio Lemonhand performing from 8pm to 11pm.

Tiny Bear Distillery, Knoxfield
Mixing gin and cheese is the name of the game at Tiny Bear Distillery, which has tastings where you can learn about the stories behind the products.
You can also book to take part in the next Masterclass and learn about the art of making a good gin.

The Orchard Bar and Grill, Ringwood
Located in Rydges Ringwood, The Orchard features high-end dining alongside tasty and cheap drinks.
Grab cocktails from $16, including the Bloody Spritz - including Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin, passionfruit syrup, lime juice and sparkling wine. Non-alcoholic drinks start at $13.
