Yang’s Hot Works Noodles and Dumplings

735 Mountain Highway, Bayswater

Yang’s has been a mainstay on the main strip of Bayswater for more than 10 years, serving good-quality dumplings at reasonable prices.

You can buy 15 dumplings for $14.50, 15 pork and prawn wontons for $13, and 12 Chinese spinach and pork wontons for $13.

Yang’s Place

32 Railway Avenue, Ringwood East

Husband and wife team Yang and Juan opened Yang’s Place after owning and running New Marigold Hong Kong Dining in Doncaster.

Ten pan-fried pork and cabbage dumplings are $10.80, or try 10 chicken and prawn wontons in soup for $10.80.

Ping’s Dumpling Kitchen

330 Clayton Road, Clayton

Within walking distance of Clayton Station, Ping’s Dumpling Kitchen is a renowned Clayton Road hotspot.

One of the cheapest deals across the eastern suburbs are their boiled pork or vegetable dumplings at $12 for 15. Other deals include 15 wontons in chili oil for $14 and Chinese spinach and pork wonton soup (12 pieces) for $12.
