There has been significant growth in the number of coffee shops around Knox recently, with over 20 new cafes opened up in the past five years.
Here are some of the area’s newest caffeine hubs to check out on your next stroll.

Eugenes
Opened in 2022, Eugenes is a cafe hidden in the back corner of Wantirna Mall offering quality coffee and a seasonal menu.
On their autumn menu, you’ll find highlights like their breakfast tacos with fried eggs, chorizo, potato gems, avocado and a jalapeno spring onion salsa or their signature club sandwich with bacon, chicken, apple, mint, dill, spinach and tomato.

Micah Coffee Brewers
Taking home the top prize in the 2021 Melbourne Design Awards’ “On the Go” Hospitality category, Micah Coffee Brewers is renowned for its sleek and stylish design.
The shop offers its own espresso blends, alongside single origins and filtering beans from the best local roasters.
They also offer a range of sandwiches, pastries and pies to satisfy your needs.

Lorna Cafe

Named the 2023 Good Food Guide’s Cafe of the Year, Lorna Cafe was opened in 2017 but became a local favourite post-Covid with breakfast and lunch service and specialty in-house brewed coffee. Their cold brew is a must-try offering.

Selene’s Chocolate Cafe
Located in the Westfield Knox Shopping Centre, Selene’s is a boutique chocolate cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee along with their vast choice of chocolates and sweet treats including pralines, cakes and gift boxes.

Opening Hours: Every day, 8am-6pm
Dröm Bakery
A bakery first and foremost, Dröm also offers a wide range of coffee, with its latte the cream of the crop.
On top of this, bakers arrive from the early hours of the morning to create a large selection of pastries and savoury items from scratch, including a ‘Dubai Chocolate Crescent’ and a ‘Garlic & Chives Cheese Twist’.
Pop outside to grab a seat on a milk crate outside on a clear day.
