From cultural celebrations to festivals, there’s plenty to keep young eastern Melburnians entertained this month.

Artist Alley Melbourne
About 300 artists, makers, creators and small businesses are showcasing their fan art, anime, handmade goods and original merchandise over two days.
When: Saturday February 7, 9am to 5pm and Sunday February 8, 9am to 4pm

MS Mega Pickleball
Think you and your friends have got what it takes to play pickleball for 12 hours straight?
This event is raising funds for MS Australia, supporting more than 37,756 people living with multiple sclerosis across the country.
At least two players from each team need to be on the court at all times and you don’t need to be a member of a pickleball or on a team to participate.
When: Saturday February 7, 8am-8pm

Whitehorse Farmers’ Market
Whitehorse Farmers’ Market has been run by Whitehorse Rotary Group every month since 2006.
Enjoy the wide range of fruit, vegetables and meats, as well as bread, cakes, pasta, eggs, chutneys and olive oils.
You can also grab a bacon and egg sandwich and a freshly brewed coffee.
When: Sunday February 8, 8am-1pm

Chinese Lantern Celebration
Marking the Chinese Lantern Festival, Box Hill’s Chinese Lantern Celebration will feature traditional music and dance performances, lanterns on show, cultural displays and activities suitable for all ages.
When: Saturday February 14, 6.30-8.30pm

100 Years of Gilwell Park
Current and past Scouts from the region are encouraged to celebrate the centenary of the camping and leader training at Gilwell Park.
Attendees will have the chance to learn more about how training has changed over the years, including a demonstration of how Scouts lit a campfire 100 years ago.
A number of the fun activities at the park will also be free, including bouldering and the Flying Fox.

K-pop Dance Party
Aimed at young people aged 12 to 25, this free event will include K-pop hits and dance-offs on stage and Korean street food and drinks.
All attendees are encouraged to cosplay as their favourite K-pop icons or team up with friends to cosplay as a band.
When: Friday, February 20, 6-9pm

Australian Craft & Food Market
Relive the glory days at Caribbean Gardens by popping down to a classic craft and food market, including local producers and artists.

Burrinja Fest

Burrinja Fest’s performing artists will include Rebellious Bird and Hannah Schmidli.
This one-day festival is showcasing the Hills’ best creative talents, including live music, art and dance workshops, kids activities and food.

Knox Fest

This year’s Knox Fest will include a range of activities, including live music, amusement rides, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, arts and outdoor play and market stalls.
There will also be a fireworks display at 9.45pm.
