We all know the feeling. You should be getting ready for bed but you get the craving for some sweet treats. Or you’ve had a night out and it’s 2am and you’re keen for something greasy. Check out these places open after 10pm across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Glenny Kebabs
A true eastern suburbs local icon, Glenny Kebabs started in Glen Waverley in 2016, but has since grown into four other locations across the area.
In addition to a traditional kebab, you can also grab a Halal Snack Pack, a mi goreng or a falafel bites.
When: Open 11am to 1am every day.
Where: Locations in Glen Waverley, Box Hill, Mount Waverley, Vermont and Forest Hill.
Barr’d Wine and Tapas Bar
From traditional tapas dishes to a paella, a diverse wine list, cocktails and more than 50 craft beers from across Australia and the world, Barr’d is the place to make for a memorable night or stop in for a quick bite.
Don’t skimp on the dessert either, with churros or Creme Catalana among the offerings.
When: Open from 3pm to 1am Saturday and Sunday, 3pm to 11pm on Sunday and 4pm to 1am on Tuesday to Thursday.

Hills BBQ Noodle Shop
Cheap and traditional Cantonese - no frills. Grab a bowl of rice with your choice of meat for $9. Or grab some crispy pork buns.
When: Open every day from noon to 11pm.
Where: 586 Station Street, Box Hill.
Wong’s Late Night Hot Pot
Taste the hot, spicy and genuine Chongqing flavours at Wong’s in Glen Waverley.
Or if you’re after something more exotic, try their signature beef tripe or marinated ox tongue with Sichuan pepper.
When: Open until 11pm from Thursday to Saturday.

Homm, Dessert at Heart
Homm prides itself on making Asian dessert from scratch with no food colouring or preservatives added.
Signature dishes include the Bingsu (Korean shaved ice), the Shokupan (Japanese milk bread) and gelato mochi.
